WELCOME
The Performing Arts Scholarship Foundation (PASF) was formed in 1982 by the late Sylvia Dellar to provide financial aid to deserving vocal and instrumental students with professional performance potential who live and/or study music in Santa Barbara County.
The financial aid is given via an annual competition for which eligible students audition. Those students who are selected to compete win cash prizes based on the award given them by the professional panel of judges. Our flexible funding policies award funds for career development, whether to be payment for music lessons, tuition for music school, summer music programs abroad, or instrument improvement.
PASF is proud of the dozens of former winners who have gone on to music careers in prestigious positions with international orchestras, music conservatories, opera companies, chamber groups, recording studios, and stages all over the world. We are honored to be an encouraging and supportive part of their success.
